Lynne Guenot
Lynne Guenot
Lynne was the life of the party, someone whose presence instantly lifted the room. As the baby of her family, she was always the “cool mom and aunt.” Lynne was adored not only by her own children, but by all who were lucky enough to be part of her life . She had a way of making everyone feel welcome, and her home was a place where the door was always open. Laughter and danceing in the kitchen were constant. She had a beautiful voice and you could often find her singing along to whatever was playing. Lynne was famous for her legendary “Lynne Burgers” that made an appearance at almost every party she hosted. After working for the state of New Jersey as a real estate investigator for 20 years, she was able to retire in 2024. Some of her happiest moments were spent on trips to North Wildwood, where she cherished sunrise walks on the beach with her grandkids, ending at Russo’s for doughnuts. She also loved her trips to Virginia, where she created yet more memories with her family.
Lynne is survived by her son George (Jennifer) and her grandchildren, Shannon, Lynne, and Georgie, great-grandson Johnathan James; her daughter Jaymie Lynne (Jason) and her grandchildren, Jaslynne, Jillian, and Julianna ; her siblings, Gerri, Nancy, and Suzanne; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Anna Bell. Siblings, Dot, Chickie, John, Bunny, and Carol, and Great grandson Mallick Jr.
Services will be held at Gates of heaven cemetery on the White Horse Pike in Berlin, NJ at Noon for an intimate ceremony, with refreshments to follow at her home. Feel free to wear your Phillies or Redskins best to celebrate her life.
