Anna Mae Rogers

Anna Mae Rogers

Anna Mae was a hard worker her whole life through. Her husband suffered an untimely stroke which forced her to learn to drive and into the workplace. She’d eventually run about 7 machines and train others to do likewise at Wall Rope Factory. Of course, she found her real calling late in life as a grandmother and great grandmother. She was unrelenting in her spoiling. She went all out for Christmas and with QVC there was never a lack of presents; she even bought one for her dedicated UPS driver. She loved to crochet, dance and cheered on the Phillies and the Eagles. She was born and raised in Riverside.

She was predeceased by her husbands, James Carruthers and Harold Rogers. She was the mother of, the late James (Debbie) Carruthers, Ronald Carruthers, the late Sherry (the late John) Garbe, and Cindy Pulley; grandmother of the late Wendy Garbe, Jim (Joanne) Carruthers, John (Tracey) Garbe, Becky (Rich) Whitmeyer, and Melanie Pulley (Jim Arnold); and great grandmother of Jimmy (Haley) Carruthers, Jillian Carruthers, Haleigh Olsen and Alyson Whitmeyer.

Come celebrate 99 years (and 363 days) Tuesday 10-11 a.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside where there will be an 11 a.m. service. Interment Lakeview Cemetery, Cinnaminson.
