Julia is survived by her husband, Robert E. Krumm; her children, Elizabeth C. (Demetrius) Sampson, Colleen M. (Rudy) Tellez, and Robert E. (Jessica) Krumm; and her eight grandchildren, Elizabeth, Demetrio, Nicolas, Sofia, Sebastian, Ava, Hailey, and Riley.
Julia was the heart of her family for 83 years. She was a woman of deep Catholic faith and was a long-standing parishioner of St. Peter’s Church in Riverside. She was very devoted to the Blessed Sacrament and attended Adoration at Holy Name Church in Delran for many years. In addition, she belonged to The Third Order of St. Dominic from the age of 16 and was known as Sister Mary Joseph of The Holy Face of Jesus.
Julia was an active member in Saint Peter’s Church and school community. She gave back by volunteering countless hours wherever she was needed.
Julia graduated from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Business School in Camden. She was known for her speed and accuracy as a typist and bookkeeper. Her first job was at the Catholic Star Herald in Camden. She later worked at Philadelphia Blueprint Company where she met her husband. After raising her family she worked at ARI in Mount Laurel.
Julia was on her school basketball team and belonged to a bowling league. She loved going to concerts, the theater, movies, dancing, and spending time at the Jersey Shore. She enjoyed walking the Sea Wall in North Wildwood and taking carriage rides in Cape May. She was an avid reader and a talented writer. She was also an accomplished pianist.
Julia and Robert spent 56 beautiful years together. Their family is a lasting testament to the special love and commitment they had for one another.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at Sweeney Funeral Home, 337 Bridgeboro Street, Riverside, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 2500 Branch Pike, Cinnaminson, NJ. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 2398 Rt 70 W, Cherry Hill, NJ.
