Vernon Beatty Jr

Vernon Beatty Jr

Stubborn in the best way, Vern was a man who knew what he liked, stuck to it, and lived life on his own terms. A lifelong fan of the Miami Dolphins, Vern could often be found watching the game on game days, fully committed to his team no matter the record. He had a deep love for the outdoors, especially freshwater fishing, hunting, and bird watching. He proudly coached youth sports with P.A.L and St. Casimir while his daughters were growing up. Though not much for cooking he did love to grill, Vern never passed up a good meal out, especially if it involved a well-cooked steak. TV was a favorite way to unwind, and he was especially fond of Two and a Half Men, NASCAR races, watching sports and spending time surfing the web. Music was always part of Vernon’s life. He was a devoted fan of classic country, particularly George Strait, Garth Brooks, Alabama and Brooks & Dunn.

Vernon is survived by his daughters: Brittany Beatty (Erik) and Danielle (Scott) Medlar; the mother of their children: Deneen Gould; his siblings: Christine (Tex), Ron (Melissa); step sister: Christa. along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Donna, mother: WilmaJean and his father and stepmother: Vernon (Marie)
