William Francis Kerrigan

Born and raised in the tough neighborhoods of Manhattan and Queens. A proud New York Giants fan, Bill remained loyal to Big Blue through the highs and lows.  Known best as “Billy Good Guy” by his friends and family, a testament to his true nature. He grew into a fiercely protective father and Poppop, someone who would move mountains for those he loved.

He brought loyalty and consistency to his career at Radwell, where he was affectionately known as “Mr. Bill.” Colleagues remember him as kind, approachable, and always ready with a warm greeting. He had the rare pleasure of working at the same company as his wife, a daily reminder of the life they built together.

Bill and Nancy would share a beautiful 38-year marriage. Fittingly, they wed on his birthday, a date he could never forget, and one he lovingly joked about for years. Together, they were inseparable. From weekend shopping trips to Marshalls or TJ Maxx to quiet getaways in the Pocono Mountains at Arrowhead and Locust Lakes, their love was steady and full of joy. Bill especially loved feeding the deer and getting together with cousins during family visits to Long Beach Island. He wasn’t always a beach guy, but in his later years, you could find him soaking up the sun, content with the sound of the waves.

Known best as Poppop to his grandkids, Bill lit up during family weekends, whether it was a trip to the zoo, a movie, or just goofing around. His family was his life’s purpose.

Bill is survived by his wife: Nancy; children: Jen (Adam), Andrea, and Bill; grandchildren: Quinn, Hannalise, Jameson, Cecelia, and Elliot; along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. He was survived by his ; brother in law: James (Alice) Jones, Jeffrey (Maryann) Jones; sister in laws; Anne Jones,  Alice Jones; Kathleen (Kenneth) Stephenson; and his Aunt Dolores Jones and Uncle Joe Wilcox.

Bill was  predeceased by his parent Bernard and Margaret Kerrigan and his siblings: James, Jack, and Catherine

Come celebrate 77 great years on Friday October 17, from 9am-10am at Resurrection Parish, (St Casimir site.  Mass of Christian Burial will  be celebrated 10am. Interment immediately to follow at Monument Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lewy Body Dementia Association. www.lbda.org
