Agnes Scaramazza
Agnes Scaramazza
Agnes had a spark in her that everyone who met her remembered. She was a little feisty, strong-willed, and never afraid to tell you exactly how she felt, but did it all with grace. Agnes loved people and she especially loved having company. Family was the center of her world. Agnes cherished every moment spent surrounded by those she loved, whether it was holiday gatherings or simply sitting around the kitchen table talking. As a mom, she was more than just a parent, she was a friend. She and her daughter, Agnes, were very close. They traveled together, went shopping and out to lunch, and shared a love for decorating their home, turning every season and celebration into something special. She was an italian cook like no other, famous for her raviolis, but never sharing her recipes. Agnes enjoyed the excitement of casinos and the adventures of traveling with her late husband, Albert. Their story began when they met at the Riverside movie theater. They took a ride together afterward, and from that moment on, the rest was history. They shared a 77 year marriage filled with love and laughter.
Agnes is predeceased by her husband Albert, and her siblings Pauline Visone, Lawrence Salvatoriello, and Carmine Cavaliere. She is survived by her daughter Agnes and her nieces and nephews.
Come Celebrate 99 great years on Wednesday December 17th at 10:30am where there will be a Mass of Christian burial at Jesus the Good Shepherd, 805 Warren St Beverly. Entombment immediately to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Riverside.
